Dr. Palmer’s family has been taking their pets to Nonantum since 1988.  He joined Nonantum Veterinary Clinic in 2023 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine as a second career student. With a background rooted in education and animal care, he brings a calm, practical approach to each appointment — whether that means building trust with a nervous patient or walking an owner step-by-step through a treatment plan.

His goal is always the same: to help clients feel informed, heard, and confident in the decisions they make for their pets. He’s also known around the clinic for being a reliable treat-dispensing machine when the situation calls for it.

When he’s not in the exam room, Dr. Palmer enjoys backpacking with his son and their dog, usually somewhere far enough into the woods that cell service can’t find them.
