Courtney Rhodes, VMD Co-Medical Director

Dr. Courtney Rhodes graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Her experience includes dairy and mixed animal practice as well as small animal practice in Newark, Delaware, and Lancaster, Pa. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her four children and three dogs, as well as playing outside, knitting, and listening to audiobooks. Her favorite season is Fall.

Victoria Kabakjian, DVM Co-Medical Director

Dr. Victoria Kabakjian is a 2010 graduate of the Ohio State University. She has practiced small animal medicine exclusively since graduating and has a special interest in low-stress handling to make office visits as pleasant as possible for her patients. Vicki grew up on the border of Chester and Lancaster counties. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and their dogs and goats. She also enjoys being outdoors, sewing, and lifting weights.

Colleen Stewart, VMD

Dr. Colleen Stewart received her B.S. from Penn State University in Animal Sciences. She then worked for New Bolton Center's dairy farm for a year and a half before starting veterinary school at Ross University on St. Kitts. After a year at Ross, she transferred to a second year at the University of Penn School of Vet Medicine. In 2017, she worked as a mixed animal vet in Lancaster before transitioning to small animal medicine here at Nonantum. Dr. Stewart grew up around the corner in New London, PA. She enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, creating artwork, and spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in Cochranville with her husband Zach, son J.D., and pit mixes Turbo and Bob.

Kate Sharon, DVM

Kate Sharon graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She completed an internship at Piedmont Equine Practice and practiced equine medicine in Maryland before transitioning to small animal medicine at a general practice in Delaware County. She has a special interest in internal medicine and enjoys working with senior pets. Dr. Sharon grew up in Landenberg, and Nonantum has been her family clinic since 1983. She likes spending time with her family and friends and playing tennis. She has a cat named Katie, whom she did not name.

Marina Fasick, VMD

Marina graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and joined Nonantum in 2019. She grew up in New Jersey and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. In her spare time, Marina enjoys being outside, finding projects, cooking, and traveling. She lives in Delaware with her husband, son, cat Carl, and ball python Linguini.

Charlotte Fagraeus, DVM

Dr. Charlotte Fagraeus is a 1994 graduate of Cornell Veterinary School. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and moved to the USA when she was 9 years old. She has been practicing in the area for 25+ years, including co-owning a practice for 14 years. She is a happy mom of two children, three dogs, and two cats and joined Nonantum in March 2020.

Crystal Press, VMD

Crystal Press, VMD, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and joined Nonantum in March 2017 after 8 years in another small animal practice. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery. Her furry family includes 2 dogs and a cat. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young sons, Elliot and Lucas, as well as cooking and seeing live music.

Albert Lynch, DVM DACVS-SA

Dr. Albert Lynch is a board-certified specialty surgeon who performs advanced surgeries such as TPLOs, MPLs, and fracture fixation. Dr. Lynch was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan, into a family full of veterinarians and equestrians. Growing up watching his father perform surgery sparked an early passion for anatomy and what would be a lifelong pursuit of surgery. Albert met his wife, Amanda, during an EMT training course and found his dog, Bob, in a dumpster. Albert and Amanda attended the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. He then completed his rotating and surgical internships in Santa Cruz, California, followed by his surgical residency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For his work in the area of fracture fixation and 3D printing, Dr. Lynch has been a podium speaker at the annual American College of Veterinary Surgeons surgery summit, had his research featured on the cover of the medical journal, Veterinary and Comparative Orthopedics, and Traumatology, and is a consultant for several medical imaging and implant manufacturers.
Dr. Lynch also holds numerous patents for orthopedic devices and has used computer modeling with 3D printing to percutaneously correct complex fractures and angular limb deformities in his patients.

Janelle DeFulio, VMD

Dr. DeFulio joined Nonantum Veterinary Clinic in July 2024. With an undergraduate degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from Penn State University and a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, she is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for pets. Dr. DeFulio is currently working on completing her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), which aligns with her special interests in physical therapy, rehabilitation, soft tissue surgery, and pain management.

From a young age, Dr. DeFulio had a deep love for animals and a desire to help people and their pets live their best lives. She particularly enjoys educating pet parents on optimal care and collaborating with fellow veterinarians to deliver well-rounded care for each patient. Dr. DeFulio is especially passionate about managing pain and arthritis in older pets to extend and enhance their quality of life.

When she's not working, Dr. DeFulio enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bentley and Rosie, and her cat, Banks. She loves going to the beach, kayaking, exercising, reading, traveling, and playing pickleball.

Kenny Roberts

Kenny has worked at his family's business at Nonantum Farm and Veterinary Clinic since 1996. After he graduated from Temple University with a degree in Finance, he began working full-time at the clinic for many years and purchased Nonantum in 2018. Kenny and his wife manage all aspects of the business to ensure it continues to operate in his family's philosophy of providing quality veterinary care at a reasonable cost while maintaining the best possible customer service.

Cindy Roberts graduated with a BS in Biology from Penn State University and an AS in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College. In addition to years of veterinary nursing in veterinary hospitals, she has worked in management and business analyst roles at both human and pet insurance companies. Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and three dogs.

Heidi Kennedy, Supervisor

Heidi joined Nonantum in 1998 and has one cat, Boots, and three Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Reba, Dakota, and Juliette. She is an active member of the Wilmington Kennel Club, The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Potomac, and The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America. Heidi enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening in her free time and competes in various canine events, including confirmation, obedience, rallying, and lure coursing.

Christa joined the Nonantum team in 2014. She has been a vet tech for over 17 years. Ever since she was little, she has always had a passion for animals and helping them as much as she can. She studied professional photography in college, which she still does part-time as well. She currently has 2 rescue dogs, Ryleigh (a beagle mix from Delaware Pet Rescue) and Willow (a pit bull from ACCT shelter in Philly), 2 horses, and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys spoiling all of her animals, trail riding, spending time with family and friends, doing lifestyle portrait photography, baking, and crafting.

Meghan started as a kennel tech shortly after graduating high school. Though she enjoyed working directly with the animals, she was missing human interaction. She has been a vet tech for several years and has experience in general practice, dermatology, and emergency. Meghan wouldn't be able to envision herself in any other career field. Outside of working at Nonantum, she enjoys time spent with her family.
